Scrap Desk

Scrap desk is a piece of outdoor furniture we designed for the backyard of our studio. It is made of different recycled materials like old tiles, discarded lumber and metal scrap. It was an experiment to use traditional motifs, in a new vocabulary, made of scrap to serve a specific function. This has resulted in creating a unique piece of weather resistant furniture, that reflects the mood of the space, that combines a traditional architectural space of Kerala with a tropical landscape and Moroccan motifs.
