The project was to design an Arabian themed restaurant in a typical four storey commercial building that was leased for this purpose. The idea was to create a contemporary building with shades of traditional Islamic architecture. The first challenge was to satisfy all the functional requirements that the chef had listed out. It was an incredible journey into the world of food. The preparation areas had to satisfy the technical requirements for different preparations whereas the ambience of the dining spaces had to relate to the cultural aspects of the traditional cuisine.


It is a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves Arabic food on the ground floor and Seafood on the first floor. Luxurious fabrics and handmade glazed tiles in a colour theme of golden and onion pink was used for the Arabic restaurant, whereas silver and wine red was used to set the theme for the Seafood diner
