For this residential project, we have implemented the concept of 'Tropical New Wave Landscape' for the first time. It features an innovative landscape design
that transforms with the seasons, which is novel in a tropical context. The design balances low-maintenance flowering perennials with vibrant foliage plants
in shades of red and violet, complementing the greenery. A cluster of Plumeria trees with red blooms defines the spatial vocabulary, while the red foliage of
Cordyline unifies the distributed trees. A green cover of Melastoma plants with purple flowers, along with smaller flowering plants and foliage, completes the
scheme.
An outdoor pooja space has been created in place of a traditional pooja room, featuring a signature
Bauhinia tree (Purple 'Mandharam') and a custom 'Thulsithara' that defines the area. The hardscape includes a unique custom paving pattern developed to
complement the architectural scheme, along with textured blue compound walls. The paving combines grey natural stone, reddish concrete pavers, and ceramic
blue tiles as accents.
The indoor landscape features a dry court that leads to a water garden, forming an informal seating area within the house.
